2015 has been another fantastic year. I (just) got the car to Beach Hop, and have since greatly enjoyed the machine on many little drives around Wellington. Especially the trips around the stunning South Coast of this beautiful city. It's a real treat to have such great roads and epic backdrops just down the road from my house.
2016 begins with a big move over to Los Angeles, which is super exciting. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to live and work over there, being the center of the film design industry I fell in love with thanks to films like Aliens and Star Wars. I've spent over 4 months this year in LA, and love it. I can't wait to enjoy the Kuda on some of the awesome canyon roads around the place. I have big plans for photo and film productions once I get the car over there too, the opportunities are endless!
As much fun as I'll have hooning the car up Angeles Crest and taking it to Supercar Sunday, I think I'll miss these scenic trips around the South Coast on the way to a delicious brunch at Maranui cafe (ok, mostly I'll be missing the coffee and the epic food, New Zealand could sure teach the US a thing or two about good coffee and cooked breakfasts!). I still have a few weeks before I head to LA though, so I'll be sure to get a couple more trips in.

Stormy fish
A little trip to the coast after fixing the cuda from it's last trip out.
Snapped a rear universal joint testing the traction of some 325 wide Mickey Thompson ET Streets. It was nice to feel the car grip and go instead of blazing the tires. Till it went bang.
All fixed now. But I'll have to leave those fat tires off till I get a new driveshaft with bigger universals. Lucky burnouts arealmost more fun than launches.

Dash light
Got the dash lighting wired up. Been looking forward to seeing this for a while, it was always one of my favourite things about the old car. Dim green top-down lighting, such awesome cinematic 70s style.
